LG Optimus L9 is a high-mid range touchscreen Android smartphone designed and manufactured by LG Electronics. The phone was released on October 31, 2012. The Optimus L9 features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone is designed to be the successor of LG Optimus L7. The LG Optimus L9 brings many improvements upon its predecessor, including FullHD 1080p video recording, increased screen resolution, increased RAM size and a dual-core processor. In the United States, the Optimus L9 is carried by T-Mobile and Solavei.

 Optimus L9 is quite usable under bright sunlight, If    you set brightness level to 100%. The brightness of   the phone had to be adjust manually every time lighting conditions shifted due to the lack of an auto-brightness setting.

The phone is powered by a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor. With ICS, the handset gets the usual slew of Google's services, like Chrome, Gmail, Plus, Latitude, Maps with Navigation, Messenger, Search, Talk, and YouTube. The Google Play stores for Books, Magazines, Movies & TV, and Music are included as well.
